Embark on a picturesque journey from Vlora to Gjipe, a scenic drive lasting approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes. Our adventure unfolds with a captivating visit to the Llogara Panorama, surrounded by majestic mountains offering awe-inspiring views of the Ionian Sea and the southern Riviera. Take a leisurely 20-minute break here to absorb the breathtaking scenery.

Next, we venture to the Monastery of St. Theodore in Gjipe, where we’ll park the car and embark on a transformative hike to Gjipe Beach via the “Path of Gods.” This moderate-level hiking path provides crucial panoramic views of the canyon and beach, lasting about an hour. For this trail, it’s recommended to wear sneakers.

Our third stop immerses us in the pristine beauty of the wild Gjipe Beach, renowned for its challenging accessibility. Explore the beach and its caves by kayaking for approximately 1 hours, creating unforgettable memories.

The grand finale awaits at the Gjipe Canyon. We’ll hike up the canyon, utilizing rock climbing skills for a distance of one to two kilometers, leading us to the heart of the Gjipe Canyon gorge. This adventurous ascent takes around two hours to complete.

Take a well-deserved break on the beach, where restaurants and cafes await for lunch or a refreshing drink (not included). Ensure you bring your swimwear, hat, sunscreen, and sneakers for a complete and comfortable experience.

Our return journey to Vlora from Gjipe by car will take approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, concluding a day filled with exploration, adventure, and the natural wonders of Gjipe.

Know before you go

You will hike in a mid difficulty trail of 2.5 km to descend the Canyon in the Gjipe Beach.
You will rock climb the gorgues of the Canyon of Gjipe for about 2.5 km, initially we will find small rocks by the road the rocks will became bigger we can use the cords installed.
You will kayak for aproximatly 1 hour to reach the Cave of Pigeons from Gjipe Beach
