Tirana free walking tour aims to uncover the city’s fascinating mix of history, culture, and modern life. Tirana is not just Albania’s capital—it’s a place where Ottoman mosques stand next to communist landmarks, where colorful street art tells powerful stories, and where every corner hides a secret waiting to be shared. This is a tip-based tour, so you pay what you feel the walk and guide were worth.
On this walk, we’ll explore Skanderbeg Square, the Pyramid of Tirana, Blloku district, and more. Along the way, I’ll share insider stories about life under communism, history of the religion, and surprising curiosities you won’t find in guidebooks.
The tour is easy-paced and fun, perfect for all ages. In a small and friendly group, you’ll have plenty of time to ask questions, take photos, and truly connect with us.
Expect not just history, but also local tips for food, drinks, and hidden gems to continue exploring after the tour.

A free walking tour is a guided exploration of a city led by a local expert who shares insights into the city's history, culture, and landmarks. Unlike traditional tours with a fixed price, free walking tours operate on a "pay-what-you-want" model, where participants can tip the guide at the end of the tour based on their experience and budget.
